Xpress Tees is a custom printing, embroidery and apparel business on the Gold Coast, with stores in Surfers Paradise and Ashmore. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you shop with us, visit our stores or use xpresstees.com.au, how we use it and who we share it with. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

  • Your name, email address, phone number, and your delivery and billing addresses.
  • Your order details, including the products, sizes, colours and quantities you choose.
  • Artwork, logos and designs you upload, create in our online designer or send us.
  • Messages you send us through our website forms, by email, by phone or in store.
  • Your account details if you create an account. Passwords are stored in a scrambled (hashed) form, so we cannot read them.
  • Technical information when you browse our website, such as your IP address, browser and device type, and the pages you visit. This is collected with cookies, as explained below.

We do not store your card details. Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Afterpay payments are processed securely by our payment providers, Stripe and Afterpay.

How we use it

  • To quote, prepare proofs, print, embroider and deliver your order, or have it ready for pickup.
  • To contact you about your order, your artwork or your enquiry.
  • To run your account and keep a record of past orders, so reorders are easy.
  • To prevent fraud and spam, and to keep our website secure.
  • To understand how our website is used and improve it.
  • To measure how well our online ads work.
  • To send you news and offers by email, but only if you have joined our mailing list. Every email has an unsubscribe link.

Who we share it with

We only share personal information with the businesses that help us run our store, and only what they need to do their job:

  • Payment providers (Stripe and Afterpay) to process payments.
  • Courier and delivery services, such as Aramex, to deliver your order.
  • Email services (Brevo and Mailgun) to send order emails, replies to enquiries and our mailing list emails.
  • Google, for website analytics, advertising measurement, our product listings and spam protection on forms (reCAPTCHA).
  • Our website hosting provider, WP Engine.

We do not sell your personal information. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

Cookies and analytics

Our website uses cookies. Some are needed for the site to work, such as keeping items in your cart and keeping you logged in. Others come from Google Analytics and Google Ads and help us see how people find and use our site. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, although parts of the site, such as the cart, may not work without them. You can also opt out of Google Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout and manage Google ad personalisation at adssettings.google.com.

Information stored outside Australia

Some of the services listed above store or process data outside Australia, for example in the United States and Europe. We choose established providers that protect the information they hold.

Keeping your information safe

Our website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and access to customer information is limited to the people who need it to complete your order. We keep personal information for as long as we need it for your orders and to meet our tax and legal record keeping obligations, then delete it or remove the details that identify you.

Accessing or correcting your information

You can update your details at any time in My Account. To ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, contact us using the details below.

Questions and complaints

If you have a question or a concern about how we have handled your personal information, please contact us first and we will aim to respond within 30 days. If you are not happy with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
